Conference Archivist
The Conference Archivist is responsible for the acquisition, preservation and care of the records of the
history of the Conference and its local churches within the State of Michigan. Acquisition, access to,
professional care, daily management, and maintenance of the Conference’s archives are included in
the duties, as well as the organization, preservation, and storage of records. The Archivist serves as
the Institutional Records Manager. The Archivist refines, implements, and upholds archival policies
and procedures with regard to processing, documenting and accessing archival collections. The
Archivist is responsible for ensuring the digitization of selected conference archival records. The
Archivist processes and stores the collection according to generally accepted archival standards
