By integrating preventive cybersecurity solutions into every policy, we deliver a holistic risk-transfer and risk-reduction platform for small to middle-market insureds. Our distribution channels include Managed Service Providers, Wholesale and Retail Insurance.

Role Overview
Join our underwriting team and learn how cyber-risk data becomes an insurance policy. As an Assistant Underwriting Intern you’ll support every stage of the underwriting workflow—from gathering missing submission data to policy issuance—while working side-by-side with experienced underwriters, security analysts, and producers.
What You’ll Do
- Screen new submissions for completeness; request additional information from brokers and prospects.
- Compile risk data (external scans, vendor questionnaires, financials) into our underwriting workbench.
- Draft quote proposals and endorsement language for review by the underwriting manager.
- Maintain CRM & policy files to ensure data quality, version control, and audit readiness.
- Contribute to process-improvement projects such as building Excel/Power BI dashboards or refining underwriting guidelines.

Required Qualifications
- Rising junior, senior, or graduate student in Risk Management & Insurance, Finance, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, or related discipline
- Foundational knowledge of insurance principles (coursework or Gamma Iota Sigma involvement welcome)
- Strong quantitative and critical-thinking skills; fluent in Excel/Google Sheets
- Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable interfacing with brokers and clients
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Extras
- Familiarity with cyber-security frameworks, threat intelligence feeds, or vulnerability scanners
- Prior internship/co-op in insurance, brokerage, or information-security consulting
