Type: Full-Time (At-will)
Hours: 35-40 per week (estimated)
Estimate Start Date: August 2025
Compensation: $18-$22 per hour/DOE
As an Receptionist, you will become highly skilled in uncovering clients’ administrative needs, creating a warm and welcoming office environment, and supporting the whole-team effort in delivering meaningful solutions for our clients. Often, you are not only the first person our client’s will interact with, but also the person who explains the process by which the client will get resolution of their matter.
The job functions of the Receptionist will include both front desk tasks and administrative tasks.
Front Desk Tasks:
- Managing inbound phone, email, and messaging systems as the first point of contact for potential and current clients
- Staff the reception desk, greet clients with a warm welcome, and ensure they are comfortable in our office
- Client and staff beverage and snack stock management
- Staff and client meal coordination, coffee preparation, and other related tasks
- General office and appliance cleaning
Administrative Tasks:
- Inputting and managing calendar appointments and task reminders for attorneys.
- Review draft documents for grammatical, syntactical, and input errors
- Review draft documents for accuracy of client provided information (such as email addresses, birth dates, spelling of names, etc).
- Manage documents as directed in accordance with established workflows
- Complete miscellaneous errands for the business or attorneys to maximize attorney billing availability (this can include, but is not limited to, picking-up or dropping-off letters or parcels with carriers, purchasing office supplies, running general office errands, or other similar tasks)
