Boat Driver and Camp Counselor

Looking for the summer experience of a lifetime? Want a summer job that feels like more than just another boring job? Look no further than becoming a boat driver and camp counselor at one of the top summer camps in the country! Camp Olympia is an overnight sports and recreation camp for children ages 6-16 located on Lake Livingston in Trinity, Texas.  As a counselor, you spend your summer making an impact, having fun, and creating memories that last a lifetime. Camp Olympia is searching for “O-mazing” students who want to devote part or all of their summer to providing the unforgettable experience that all campers deserve. 

As a camp counselor, you develop valuable skills such as time management, problem-solving, leadership, and interpersonal skills, all while having fun in the sun! Furthermore, counselors have the opportunity to teach and coach over 45 different activities, ranging from basketball, horseback, riflery, and culinary arts to wakeboard/waterski, video production, arts and crafts, and more! Furthermore, as a boat driver, some of your activities will consist of driving one of our Wakeboard and Waterski boats for classes, or what we call rocketing (which is similar to banana boating or tubing).  You will receive training from a company called Waterski Works prior to camp starting where you will be taught how to drive for classes, as well as get in some skiing and boarding time yourself! We are committed to helping people grow in body, mind, and spirit, while also having a great time! This position is paid, and we will provide lodging and 3 meals per day.
