Do you love walking alongside middle school students as they discover who they are, build lasting friendships, and grow to become more like Jesus? Do you get energy from creating meaningful environments where 6th–8th graders can encounter Jesus in real and relevant ways? Kingsway Christian Church is looking for a Middle School Minister to join our growing Student Ministry team!

About the Role

The Middle School Minister will lead and shape ministry for 6th–8th graders while working closely with our High School Minister and Director of Family Ministry. This is an exciting opportunity to invest in the lives of students, partner with families, and develop volunteers — all while being part of a healthy and collaborative team.

What You’ll Get to Do

Lead the weekly Middle School Ministry experience, including Sunday gatherings, small groups, and events.

Teach biblical, relevant messages that connect with students in large and small group settings.

Recruit, train, and encourage a team of passionate volunteers.

Build a safe, welcoming environment where every student — including those with special needs — feels loved and included.

Partner with families as they disciple their students at home.

Help plan and lead retreats, camps, and other milestone events.

Collaborate with the Student Ministry team on vision, curriculum, and shared student events (6th–12th grade).

What We’re Looking For

A relational leader who connects easily with students and adults.

A team player who thrives in collaboration.

A strong communicator with teaching and shepherding gifts.

Experienced in student ministry (3+ years preferred).

Someone who can dream strategically, but also roll up their sleeves and make ministry happen.

The Details

Full-time (~40 hrs/week) | Sunday–Thursday + events

Ministerial position (housing allowance eligible); ordination preferred

Reports to the Director of Family Ministry
