Supply Chain Management & Operations Internship Talent Community - Summer 2026

Program Overview:

McKesson’s Intern program is 10–12 weeks long and is designed to provide:

Internship Overview:

As an Intern within Supply Chain Management & Distribution Operations at McKesson, you will gain hands-on experience in the daily operations of McKesson’s distribution centers and supply chain processes. Interns shadow various roles across the department, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and experience the end-to-end supply chain in a healthcare setting while developing analytical, operational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily distribution center operations including receiving, storing, and shipping products
• Support inventory management through stock checks and accurate record-keeping
• Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation partners to ensure timely deliveries
• Participate in process improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency
• Track shipments and help resolve delivery issues
• Assist with data entry and documentation tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for improving distribution processes
• Present project findings and recommendations to upper management

General Requirements

• Enrolled as a full-time student at the time of the internship
• Must have completed a minimum of 75 credit hours by the start of the internship
• 18 years of age or older
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Major in a technical, business, or analytics discipline (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Operations, Logistics, Business Administration)
• Superior collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage priorities effectively
