About the Team

The Workday Experience Marketing organization delivers best-in-class, innovative and compelling integrated event experiences that drive business impact by growing brand value, strengthening relationships, differentiating Workday and delivering business results.
The Event Strategy practice is responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop integrated measurable event plans and programs aligned to Workday business priorities and marketing objectives. Our responsibilities include event strategy and experience design, event marketing communications, audience acquisition, demand generation, global field enablement and engagement, and integrated campaign alignment.

About the Role

As an Event Operations Intern, you’ll play a key role in helping deliver exceptional experiences across our flagship event. You’ll gain hands-on experience supporting logistics and event execution for large-scale corporate conferences.

This internship offers an inside look into how world-class events come to life—from the planning process to vendor management. You’ll collaborate across experience marketing, creative, finance and production teams while learning best practices in project management  and attendee experience.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How a global events team collaborates to plan and execute industry-leading experiences.
  • The fundamentals of event operations—budgeting, logistics, vendor management, and show flow.
  • How to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  •  Exposure to enterprise event technology platforms (RainFocus, Smartsheet, etc.).

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program with an anticipated graduation date no earlier than December 2026
  • You can commit to a full-time internship program for 12-weeks during the summer of 2026 and will return to university studies after the conclusion of the internship
  • You are pursuing a major in Event Management/Hospitality Management, Communications, Marketing, Business or related major

  • Taking initiative, being proactive, and being able to escalate when necessary.
  • Fully engaging with and understanding the needs and concerns of clients, supervisors, and vendors to prevent misunderstandings.
  • Passion for events, experiences, and creating meaningful connections.
