Counterpart Ventures Summer Operations Analyst
Overview
We are looking for a high-ownership, on-the-ground operator to serve as the central engine behind CVC Week 2026 (see last year’s breakdown here) and broader fund operations. This individual becomes the team’s right hand managing logistics, content, communications, and cross-functional coordination. This role is ideal for someone interested in events, partnerships, community building, venture capital, communications, and operations.
Primary Responsibilities
Event Operations (Major Focus)
- Build and manage run sheets, vendor timelines, space layouts, and day-of execution
- Coordinate Founder Matchmaking logistics (pods, timing, reminders)
- Support side-event hosts: venue coordination, event page updates, attendee communications
- Oversee intern team and serve as point-person during CVC Week
- CC'd on major comms for situational awareness and to assist with operational support
Communications & Marketing
- Assist with CVC Week attendee comms: reminders, onboarding steps, Hivebrite + Luma setup
- Draft LinkedIn/X content, speaker graphics, and announcements
- Refresh event pages (Luma, Hivebrite) and weekly CVC Week tracker updates
Content & Data Ops
- Assist in updating the State of CVC Report, Playbook pages, and key insights
- Populate Hivebrite profiles, upload new CVCs, and sync with Affinity
- Slice and analyze CVC survey data for internal dashboards
What You’ll Learn
- Event production at scale (20+ events during CVC Week)
- Venture fund communications + portfolio support workflows
- Relationship management with founders, LPs, and corporate investors
- Project management with complex stakeholder coordination
Time Commitment: We anticipate 3 days p/ week, 8 hours a day for a majority of the summer. We can work with you on the start date, days preferred and time off. It’s important you can continue working through Oct 2, we can adjust schedule around class start (+remote) in August/ Sept accordingly. Then in-person the week of Sept 28-Oct 2.
