Video Editing, Media & PR Intern (Paid or Unpaid)
15–20 Hours Per Week
CenterBeam Construction is a woman-owned historic renovation company in Jacksonville, Florida that specializes in restoring older homes and teaching homeowners how to care for them.
We capture a lot of footage while we work — renovation progress, behind-the-scenes moments, problem solving, and the transformation of historic homes.
We’re looking for a video-focused intern who loves editing and wants real-world experience turning raw footage into engaging stories.
This internship is ideal for someone who enjoys the creative side of post-production — shaping footage, tightening stories, adding music, pacing cuts, and creating videos people actually want to watch.
Your work will be published across YouTube, social media, and our website, giving you real portfolio content.
What You’ll Do
• Edit short-form and long-form video content (primary responsibility)
• Organize and work with large amounts of video footage from renovation projects
• Create engaging cuts, pacing, and storytelling through editing
• Add music, captions, and basic graphics when needed
• Occasionally assist with filming behind-the-scenes moments
• Help prepare content for YouTube and social media platforms
• Create simple thumbnails or graphics when needed
Who This Is Perfect For
• Students interested in video editing, media production, or digital storytelling
• Someone who genuinely enjoys editing and shaping stories from raw footage
• Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software
• Someone comfortable reviewing large amounts of footage and finding the best moments
• Organized, dependable, and creative

• Paid or unpaid, depending on school requirements and experience
• 15–20 hours per week
• Opportunity to build a real portfolio of published work
