We are looking for a motivated, people-focused Event Venue Sales Manager to help drive bookings and build strong client relationships.
Position Overview
The Event Venue Sales Manager is responsible for generating event bookings, managing client relationships, and guiding prospective customers from inquiry through contract. This is a part-time, hybrid role offering flexibility in scheduling, with a mix of remote work and on-site client meetings and tours.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Lead Management
Respond to event inquiries via email, phone, and online platforms in a timely manner
Conduct venue tours (virtual and in-person)
Follow up with leads and maintain an organized sales pipeline
Prepare customized proposals and pricing packages
Convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the main point of contact during the sales phase
Understand client needs and recommend appropriate event packages
Coordinate with operations and event teams for smooth handoff after booking
Maintain strong relationships for referrals and repeat business
Marketing & Outreach Support
Assist with social media inquiries and event listing platforms
Network with event planners, vendors, and local businesses
Attend occasional networking events or open houses to promote the venue
Administrative
Manage contracts, invoices, and deposits in coordination with the finance team
Track sales metrics and maintain CRM or lead tracking systems
Provide regular updates on booking forecasts and sales performance
Qualifications
Required
Experience in sales, hospitality, events, or venue management
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable with consultative selling and relationship building
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Basic proficiency with email, spreadsheets, and CRM tools
Knowledge of local event vendor networks
Social media or marketing familiarity
Work Schedule & Environment
Part-time hours (approximately 15–25 hours per week)
Hybrid: remote work plus scheduled on-site tours and meetings
Flexible schedule, including some evenings or weekends for client tours
Compensation
Base hourly pay plus commission on booked events
Performance bonuses may be available based on booking goals
