Athena Engineering & Environmental is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Geotechnical Engineering Intern to join our team.  Athena has offices located in Goodlettsville, TN, and Bowling Green, KY. This internship offers an opportunity for undergraduate and graduate-level candidates to work alongside our experienced team, learn, and contribute to meaningful projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing technical reports, narratives, and development applications.

• Assist with the preparation of technical reports and documentation for engineering projects.

• Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor to support project goals and team objectives.

• Assists other field and/or laboratory personnel

• Transports equipment, specimens, or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients, or other offices, and provides physical assistance in equipment set-up.

• Assists other technicians or professional staff on routine tasks, including Geotechnical Drilling & Survey Crews as needed. 

Required:

• College student pursuing a degree in civil engineering, geology, or a related field
• Own reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record. 
• Steel-toe or composite-toe boots
• Local candidates in or near Metro Nashville, TN, are strongly preferred.
