Salary Range: 31,200-$46,991

Full Time with Benefits

Job Duties:

• Providing nutritionally adequate meals meeting the federal Child Nutrition
Program meal patterns.
• Maintaining required records, reports, and inventories in compliance with
federal and state regulations.
• Requisitioning food and supplies as needed.
• Maintaining high standards of personal cleanliness as well as food sanitation. 
• Interpreting and following standard recipes and prescribed menus as well as
specific oral and written instructions. 
• Checking the cost and quality of items received and insure proper storage.
• Complying with policies and procedures of the Department.
• Assuming any responsibilities as designated by the Youth Development Center
Food Service Supervisor II, facility business officer, facility director, the Child
Nutrition Program Administrator and Child Nutrition Program Administrative
Officer.

Management Preference: These skills are not required but managers may choose to interview/select applicants who demonstrate Management Preferences.

• Knowledge of the methods of preparing different types of foods in large quantities. 

• Knowledge of the temperatures of various foods 

• General knowledge of the Federal Child Nutrition Program.

• ServSafe Certification
