Job Summary:

Geisinger offers Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) in outpatient clinic settings a $5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Job Duties:

Join our dedicated Urogynecology team and make a meaningful impact on patient care. As a Clinic Nurse, you’ll provide essential clinical support to providers, patients, and families, helping to ensure accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and continuity of care. This role is ideal for LPNs with prior inpatient or med-surg experience who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

 

$5,000 sign-on bonus for eligible LPN candidates. 

 

This role is full-time, 40 hours weekly; 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45 am to 5:15 pm.

 

Qualifications:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Previous experience in inpatient or med-surg nursing strongly preferred

Ability to provide age-appropriate care in assigned clinical areas

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and document patient history, vital signs, and chief complaints

Prepare patients for examinations and assist with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures

Administer medications, vaccines, and skin testing under provider direction

Collect and process lab specimens with accuracy and efficiency

Maintain ongoing communication with patients and providers to support timely care

Ensure exam rooms are clean, properly equipped, and meet aseptic standards

Education:

Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required)

 

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year-Nursing (Preferred)

 

Certification(s) and License(s):

Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body, Licensed Practical Nurse - Default Issuing Body
