Sunpower - Energy Consultant Intern

We are seeking energetic and motivated interns to join our team as Solar Setters. In this role, you will engage with homeowners through door-to-door outreach to educate them on the benefits of solar energy solutions and schedule appointments for our sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for interns looking to gain hands-on experience in sales, renewable energy, and customer interaction during the summer months (May through August). Key Responsibilities

• Perform door-to-door canvassing to identify potential customers and deliver presentations on solar products.
• Build rapport with homeowners, address questions or objections, and set qualified appointments.
• Track and report daily activities, leads, and progress using provided tools.
• Collaborate with the sales team for lead handoffs and participate in training sessions to improve skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate from a high school, college, or university program with full-time availability from May through August.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently or in a team, while being reliable and self-motivated.
• Comfortable with outdoor work and extended walking; no prior experience required, as training is provided.

Compensation

This is a full commission-based internship with no base salary. Top performers earn an average of $5,000 - $6,000 per month. Uncapped earning potential depending on your effort and results!
