Summary:
The IT Help Desk is responsible for providing technical support and customer service to internal employees across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to local and remote users via phone, e-mail, online systems, and in-person interactions
- Monitor and maintain server health and performance to ensure smooth business operations
- Collaborate closely with the remote infrastructure support team to provide on-site technical support, including troubleshooting, deploying, cabling, and system monitoring
- Install, configure, and maintain PCs, network printers, peripherals, and software, including physical network connections
- Configure and install wireless access points and L2 switches
- Ensure system security and compliance with company IT policy
- Utilize tools such as Active Directory, Remote Desktop, and related systems, etc.
- Operate and support audio/visual equipment, including video teleconferencing devices, projectors, and presentation tools
- Maintain cleanliness at the worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in IT with various operating systems (Windows 7, 10, etc.)
- Experience with desktop operating systems, office applications, hardware installation and troubleshooting
Skills:
- Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- MS Office Suite
