IT Help Desk (Contract)

Summary:

The IT Help Desk is responsible for providing technical support and customer service to internal employees across the organization. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to local and remote users via phone, e-mail, online systems, and in-person interactions
  • Monitor and maintain server health and performance to ensure smooth business operations
  • Collaborate closely with the remote infrastructure support team to provide on-site technical support, including troubleshooting, deploying, cabling, and system monitoring
  • Install, configure, and maintain PCs, network printers, peripherals, and software, including physical network connections
  • Configure and install wireless access points and L2 switches
  • Ensure system security and compliance with company IT policy
  • Utilize tools such as Active Directory, Remote Desktop, and related systems, etc.
  • Operate and support audio/visual equipment, including video teleconferencing devices, projectors, and presentation tools
  • Maintain cleanliness at the worksite in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
    • Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
    • Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent, relevant experience

 

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT with various operating systems (Windows 7, 10, etc.)
  • Experience with desktop operating systems, office applications, hardware installation and troubleshooting

 

Skills:

  • Strong ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical problems effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused approach
  • MS Office Suite
