Political Campaign Intern
Salary: $15.00 per hour
Job description:
MISSION STATEMENT
At New Way Forward (NWF) Strategies , we don't just run campaigns—we revolutionize them. By merging decades of traditional campaign strategy with modern tech-driven efficiency, we provide candidates with the resources to run high-impact, people-powered movements.
We believe that the best data doesn't come from a static spreadsheet; it comes from the doorstep and the telephone. We are looking for leaders from diverse backgrounds who are ready to leverage technology and direct communication to help the next generation of change-makers win.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Political Campaign Intern, your primary laboratory will be direct voter contact . You will spend the majority of your time on the front lines of persuasion, using phone banking to engage with diverse electorates. Your secondary focus will be translating those thousands of conversations into actionable intelligence.
Primary Focus: High-Volume Voter Outreach
- Execute daily phone banking sessions to build a ground-level understanding of voter sentiment and persuasive techniques.
- Engage in 1-to-1 conversations to gather real-time data on candidate perception and issue priority.
- Master the art of the "political pitch," adapting messaging on the fly to meet the voter where they are.
- Secondary Focus: Strategic Analysis & Briefing
Synthesize trends discovered during outreach to assist consultants in writing and presenting briefs on specific races, districts, or policy issues. - Conduct targeted research on opposing candidates and demographic shifts to contextualize your findings.
- Analyze voter data and outreach metrics to help NWF refine messaging for our clientele.
By the end of this internship, you won't just know how a campaign works on paper; you will have the "muscle memory" of political persuasion and the analytical skills to turn that experience into a winning strategy.
