*Lawn Care Crew Leader/ Assistant Crew Leader Needed (Westland)*

This is a Full-Time opportunity for Summer and Winter season (Full year employment)

Listed below are some qualifications with those with previous experience:

Lawn maintenance:

Must have 2-3 years prior experience as a lawn crew member currently assisting a crew leader, these are skills/credentials we are looking for:

-Have a advanced knowledge of lawn maintenance equipment.

- Valid/clean driving record/license(Less than 4 points) a chauffeurs endorsement and medical card would be a plus as well as a CDL.

- Experience with zero turn mowers and ability to stipe lawns cut a lawn professionally without causing damage to turf

- Ability to edge, string trim, and blow paved surfaces at a proficient level

- Experience with driving trucks and trailers (enclosed and open)

- Reliable transportation and must be on time for work daily

- Ability to operate commercial riding lawn mowers, walk behind mowers, edgers, whips & blowers

- Able to sharpen and change blades on a daily basis as well as have standard knowledge in servicing lawn equipment/oil changes.

Compensation starts at $20 with a potential for more based on experience-PLEASE EMAIL RESUME

Winter Work performed will be:

- Snow removal Using Plow Truck/Salting Customer Properties using a Salt Truck
- Salting and Shoveling sidewalks, entry ways, and other surfaces either by hand after full snow removal is completed.

Candidates must have the following

- On-call availability with a 1-2 hours for Salting/Snow Event.
- Reliable attendance through the winter months
- Job requires proper clothing consisting of boots, gloves, hat, and other winter attire.
- Ability to lift shovels with heavy snow
- Work in extreme conditions (snow and ice), for extended periods from 8-12 hours

**Hourly rate is starting @$25 up to 30/hr+
