Deputy Engineer

Immediate opening for a Deputy Engineer with the Office of the Champaign County Engineer in Urbana Ohio. Position involves assisting with the technical operation of the office, developing plans and designs and assisting civil engineering in the development and improvement of county bridges, ditches and roadways. Preferred Civil Engineering bachelor's degree, however, will consider associate degree in related field. Applicants should desire to achieve their Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio. Pay range from $21.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on education and experience background. This County position offers a good health care insurance program and also retirement in the OPERS system, in addition to earned vacation and sick leave, there are also 11 paid holidays per year.
