Research position for data cleaning for an economics research project. Administrative financial records collected by hand have data entry errors that must be corrected. Tasks include conducting data quality checks. All tasks to be conducted using the program Stata.

Minimum Qualifications - 

Advanced statistics/econometrics training. Familiarity and past experience with Stata. Familiarity and experience with Excel. Self-direction. Good communication skills to work with supervisor.

Duties - 

Review 10-15 separate financial datasets. Run checks on variables to identify problems. Develop scripts to clean the data. Merge and prepare the datasets for statistical analysis.  Perform other data related duties as assigned. 

Schedule & Compensation -

Minimum 5 hours per week; expected 30 hours total.

$17/hr
