Job Summary
The Lunchbox Group is a growing organization that oversees the backend office administration of our retail and food and beverage stores located in NV and CA including Hello Kitty Cafe, Sorry Not Sorry Creamery, One Piece Cafe, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Pizzeria. This position is responsible for coordinating the administrative human resources activities to support our current and future F&B businesses. This role is responsible for coordination the company’s overall recruiting process, collaborating with management to ensure accurate time tracking and payroll information for payroll submissions, and ensuring that all AP/AR are balanced.

We are looking for a Human Resource Coordinator who is passionate of any or all of the businesses we oversee. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to adapt to the business needs and volume of our stores, is organized, and has a high level of discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews resumes, phone screens candidates, and manages the submission and tracking of resumes in the company’s databases.
  • Coordinates candidate interview with hiring manager in accordance with provided interview availability.
  • Coordinates and reviews candidate background and reference checks.
  • Coordinates and integrates new hires by scheduling virtual or in-person onboarding and orientation sessions.
  • Participates in both internal and external hiring events; assists in coordinating all logistics and resources needed to staff the open interviews.
  • Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees’ time worked, hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, benefits deductions, address changes, and other information.
  • Prepares reports regarding HR, payroll, benefits, or related material as needed by and presents information to management.
  • Coordinates communication between the organization, health benefits broker, and employees regarding HRIS tech support, recruitment and onboarding, payroll, employee health benefits and eligibility.
  • Facilitates payment of vendors through either ACH, wire, or check.
  • Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
  • Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the invoices collected.
  • Assists in administrative HR and finance tasks.
  • Maintains employee files, E-i9 management, and W2 distributions.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management including but not limited to: assisting with in store operations in the absence of coverage as needed and special events.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university, or one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HRIS (ADP RUN, ADP Workforce Now)
  • Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc)
  • Inventory Software (Zoho)
  • Benefits Administration (Ease)
  • Basic knowledge of the recruitment process and onboarding process.
  • Basic understanding and knowledge of using Linkedin and Indeed as a medium to hire top talent and keep tabs on competitors.
  • Basic understanding of state (NV) and federal labor laws.
  • Knowledge of CA labor laws would be a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and complete projects within a deadline.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to present information in forms, tables, and spreadsheets.
