PEAC After School Tutor 


 

Assignment: 2:00pm - 5:30pm, Monday - Thursday


 

Hourly Rate: $21.39


 

Definition: We are looking for Tutors to join our tutoring center team. We have 7 tutoring centers located throughout the Santa Barbara Unified School District area. A tutor is responsible for helping students learn, understand and complete assignments. Ultimately, you will work directly with students to assist them in gaining a better understanding of concepts taught in the classroom. A tutor is a positive role model for students, supports students to experience a variety of learning opportunities, and creates a positive environment for learning and enrichment with a goal of 100% participation.


 

Duties: 

Conducts group homework sessions.

Keeps attendance records as required.

Engage with all students.

Checks in on all students to make sure they are being helped.
