Residential Youth Worker
Serving developmentally delayed/intellectually disabled boys between the ages of 12 to 21 years old in a beautiful campus atmosphere/residential setting.
The job responsibilities for a youth worker include teaches social and life skills, provides direct care services to youth, ensures all required reports and paperwork are completed accurately and are ready for review, engages youth in ongoing one on one interaction, and ensures the implementation of the youth’s treatment plan. Ensures the safe therapeutic environment required to help change the lives of at-risk youth and offers nurturing and supportive caregiver relationships to youth, appropriate role modeling, and consistent and adequate structure enhancing a youth’s ability to make responsible and safe choices.
Minimum Qualifications
All applicants must meet the following qualifications:
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to pass a criminal records check.
Must be able to pass a child abuse & neglect check.
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
Must have a valid Kentucky driver’s license.
