Position:

Mitten State Engineering is seeking a skilled and motivated entry level Civil Engineer specializing in site development projects. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in the design & project management assistance for both private and public sector clients. Join us in our mission to bring our clients' visions to life and make a lasting impact on the communities we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Design & learn with the site development team with AutoCAD Civil3D.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, architects, developers, and contractors to bring projects to fruition.
• Learn adequate technical expertise and guidance throughout all phases of the project, including planning, design, permitting, and construction.
• Contribute to site evaluations, and due diligence assessments to identify potential risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies, municipalities, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
• Learn project schedules, resources, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
• Monitor project progress, identify any issues or challenges, and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, maintaining regular communication and providing exceptional client service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually enhance project management techniques and deliver optimal results.
• Contribute to the design process, including utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or the ability to obtain within 6 months
• Knowledge in task management, concept design, and assisting with project management tasks.
• Strong coordination skills, including working closely with clients and attending client meetings.
• Base knowledge of AutoCAD / Civil 3D
• Interest in design encompassing utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence, and permitting.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
