Company Nanny
About The Company Nanny
The Company Nanny is a first-of-its-kind employer-sponsored childcare service based in Springfield, Missouri. We partner with companies to station a trained, certified caregiver — a Company Nanny — directly inside the workplace, so new parents can return to work after parental leave without being separated from their infant.
This is not a typical childcare job. You won't be working in a daycare center. You will be working inside a professional corporate environment — a law firm, an accounting firm, a financial institution, or similar — caring for one to three children at a time in a designated, child-friendly space. You will be an important part of a new parent's return to work, and a reflection of our brand in every client environment you enter.
Why This Job Is Different
Most childcare roles involve large groups of children, long hours, and low pay. The Company Nanny is different: low ratios, a professional setting, and a wage above the Springfield market average. You'll be part of a brand-new concept that may make the world a more family-friendly place—one office at a time.
What You'll Do
As a Company Nanny, you will be assigned to a client employer's workplace and provide professional, attentive care for infants and toddlers during regular business hours. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate care for assigned children at a client employer's facility
- Handle all routine child care — feeding (bottle and nursing support), diapering, safe sleep, and age-appropriate play and stimulation
- Facilitate nursing check-ins and parent-infant bonding throughout the workday
- Maintain and clean childcare equipment (crib, changing table, play mat, and toys) at each client site
- Maintain a clear, accurate daily care log including feeding times, diaper changes, nap times, and any notable observations
- Communicate professionally and promptly with the parent-employee about the infant's day, and notify the parent and The Company Nanny with any issues that arise
- Follow AAP Safe Sleep Guidelines and all Company Nanny safety protocols at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized care environment within the designated Facility Space
- Represent The Company Nanny professionally in a corporate environment — appearance, conduct, and communication matter
- Attend required training, check-ins, and professional development sessions as scheduled
