Laboratory Technician


The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Laboratory Technician
Biomechanics


The Laboratory Technician will be primarily responsible for general technical duties along with specific responsibilities related to human movement biomechanics. These include, but are not limited to: recruiting, scheduling, and screening subjects; set-up and operation of equipment during data collections with human subjects with chronic pathology; processing and analyzing biomechanical data and data entry; organize data for presentation and achieving purposes; maintain phone and/or electronic mail contact with subjects as necessitated by specific research protocols. The Laboratory Technician will maintain Institutional Review Board applications and perform audits to ensure adherence to the protocol. The Laboratory Technician will assure all equipment is properly calibrated and maintained, as well as restock, order, and organize collection supplies.

This position is funded temporarily through 12/31/2021. Continued employment will depend on securing continued funding.

Required Qualifications:
·        BS in Science, engineering or related field.

Salary Information: Negotiable
