Mental Health Therapist In-Home

Are you interested in helping make your community a better place for youth and families facing challenges? Come join the In-Home team!!!

Clinicians in the In-Home program provide mental health solutions for children and youth who have recently experienced a mental health crisis through intensive, short term (up to 6 months) individual and family counseling, case management, and mental health education. The primary emphasis is on preserving the family and home environment to prevent the placement of youth in a group home or other higher level facility. In-Home clinicians also provide Intensive Care Coordination (ICC) services for youth who qualify for a higher level of clinical case management. ICC services are provided for 9 months and can be extended based on participant need. The clinician functions as a coordinator for the child and family team, bringing the team together on a regular basis to ensure all team members work together towards common family/participant identified goals. In-Home services are individualized, home and community based therapeutic services that take into account the specific cultural and language needs of the participant and the family. Using a wraparound philosophy and with the support of a Parent Partner on staff, services minimize safety risks while increasing participants’ safety, hope, resiliency, and their ability to solve their own problems.
