Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me! Production Intern (Remote) - Fall 2020

NPR’s Fall 2020 Internship Program will be fully remote.
Program Duration: September 8 - December 11, 2020
This internship will assist with the production of the Wait Wait...Don’t Tell Me radio show + podcast.
INTERN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the production of the weekly live show
- Manage the Wait, Wait voicemail box and screening potential call-in contestants
- Assist the host with guest research and prep materials
- Gather tape as needed
- Record/Edit/Deliver voicemail greetings
- Perform various administrative tasks
WHO CAN APPLY?
- LOCATION: Must be planning to work during the term of the Fall 2020 internship in the United States and authorized to work in the United States.
- EDUCATION: Must be a current student in an accredited degree program or a recent graduate of no more than 12 months from the month of the start of the internship.
- TECHNOLOGY: Must have access to a personal computer, phone, and reliable internet.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong research skills
- Computer literacy
- A sense of humor
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Audio editing skills are a plus
