Training & Communications Analyst

The CalSTRS Service Retirement Division is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Training & Communications Analyst on the Training and Communications Team.

The Training & Communications Team supports the Service Retirement Division in our communication, training, procedure documentation and overall knowledge transfer needs. Primarily focuses on the design and development of training curriculums, the delivery of training either in a formal classroom setting or informal on-the-job, conducts training needs assessment and reviews and documents business processes and procedures. Additionally, supports the division to manage organizational changes and develop skillsets to cope with those changes.

The Training and Communications Team is looking for someone who has:
  • Demonstrated analytical strength with an ability to think logically and creatively.
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn and thrive in an environment of change.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Experience developing and delivering formal classroom training.

This is a 12-month limited term position, which may be extended up to 24 months or become a permanent position.
