Ingram Micro is looking to hire a DATA SPECIALIST to join our Partners Licensing Group.

As a DATA SPECIALIST you can expect to:
  • Be responsible for manipulating raw data from internal and external sources to conform to internal system requirements for import/export functions and adhere to system logic
  • Work within Excel at intermediate level utilizing pivot tables, V-lookups and moderate formulas on a daily basis
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers of Ingram Micro which will include inquiries related to data, associated reporting, requests for data as well as participate in customer interactions and meetings.
  • Create processes to successfully manage data within internal platforms as expected.
  • View workflows of assigned vendors and make recommendations on process improvements in relation to data management
  • Work as a team member to handle large quantities of information while maintaining a high level of accuracy while being responsible for your own workload related to the data that flows through the Licensing department on a regular basis.
  • Work on assignments that are moderate in nature and complexity where judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
  • Learn various vendor programs and policies and adhere to vendor requirements for purchasing of assigned data vendors.
  • Follow template logic to create ROI reporting.
  • Be self-motivated to expand system knowledge to be more proficient in file creation.
  • Have proficient knowledge of Ingram Micro systems and demonstrated ability to work within those systems at an intermediate level (CRM, ERP).
  • Assign SKU attributes as it applies to automation of internal CPQ tool as well as categorizations for ROI reporting.
Role requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma required. Some college preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Must be able to recognize common data fields in order to cross reference multiple sources of data from different systems.
  • Have the ability to multi-task, respond to rapid change with a strong degree of urgency, prioritize and perform at a high level with minimal supervision.
  • Two plus years prior general excel/excel equivalent spreadsheet software applications
