Technical Consultant II

The University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking a
Technical Consultant II
College of Business Administration
This position will share responsibility for assisting with/coordination of technology and AV needs for all events held in the UNO College of Business Administration’s (CBA) Mammel Hall. This person will also assist the CBA IT department in such areas as determining the strategic direction for CBA, including researching new technologies as it relates to AV and signage; organizing and/or participating in research and testing of new technologies; analyzing new technologies and potential benefit (process and financial), integration issues and risks; developing proposals for pilot projects, upgrades and/or the purchase of new software, hardware and/or networking. Also assist with developing and overseeing implementation plans as well as the maintenance of all technology within the building.
Required Qualifications:
·        Bachelor’s degree
·        Two years of experience in an IT focused role
·        May consider an equivalent combination of education and experience
