Summer High School Math Teacher

Established for 31 years, our private preparatory school is hiring charismatic teachers to join our faculty. Founded in 1987, we are a private school founded on an unwavering commitment to providing primary and secondary school students the tools, values, and resources needed for their self-betterment. We believe that an excellent education is one that fosters student's intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional and physical growth so they develop a lifelong love for learning.

We are seeking dedicated teachers for instruct in the following classes:

Algebra 2

Pre-Calculus

Geometry

Pre-Algebra

Integrated Math 3

Teaching times are either Tuesday/Thursday and/or Monday/Wednesday from 3:30 pm to 6 pm.

We provides instructors with job training and curriculum. Math Teachers are required to make their own Quiz and Key every class.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements for employment:

Bachelor's degree (completed)

Strong background in subject applied. Testing and Auditions required.

6 months of independent teaching/tutoring experience is preferred

Ideal candidates for the position will display:

Pass qualifying exam for topic applying

A clear dynamic and engaging teaching style

Strong communication skills

An enthusiasm for teaching

RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist students in the mastery curriculum

Teach daily lessons according to curriculum standard

Instruct multiple students in a classroom setting (class sizes range from 5-35 students)

Monitor and record student progress

Offer creative solutions to problems, both inside and outside of the classroom
