Brand Marketing Specialist

Overview:
The Brand Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting, monitoring and measuring Sharp’s appliance brand and products across all relevant touch points including social channels, consumers, partners, employees and the media industry. 

Responsibilities:
Support and always elevate Sharp’s appliance brand and product positioning and represent Sharp brand values. Serve as brand evangelist, product and consumer insight leader utilizing marketing performance data, behavioral analyses, and market research to drive best in class marketing recommendations. 

Agency Administration 
  • Coordinate with ADA Compliance Agency, and assist in making modifications to Sharp web properties 
  • Coordinate with Public Relations Agency, evaluate opportunities, assist in their execution, coordinate press releases 
  • Coordinate with SEO & Analytics Agency, evaluate opportunities and assist in their execution 
  • Coordinate with the Web Development Agency to manage change requests and error correction 
  • Coordinate with our Content Syndication Agency to manage changes and resolve issues 
  • Coordinate with Sales and peripheral marketing organizations working for our customers to activate enhanced content, distribute marketing materials, and ensure consistency and compliance. 

Content Management 
  • Create and streamline syndicated content through our distributors. Upgrade topline data companies to deliver our marketing materials to independent retailers 
  • Coordinate with Sales to distribute digital assets to key distributors, buying groups, and customers to increase engagement across dealer channels 
  • Coordinate and execute weekly digital asset distribution, execution of topline product data, and SKU deployment to ecommerce channel partners 
  • Create, schedule, and execute email marketing campaigns, landing pages, signup forms, and audiences 
  • Create, schedule, and execute content according to our content marketing strategy to properties, partners, end-users, editorial community, and affiliates 
  • Administer our Google Drive Digital Asset Library 
  • Collaborate on internal and external communications 
 
Ecommerce Administration 
  • Responsible creating product details pages, and making improvements across all Sharp Home Appliance web properties 
  • Responsible for creating landing pages for promotions and products 
  • Managed the end-to-end third-party marketplaces including Walmart, Amazon, and Facebook storefronts 
  • Collaborate with logistics to troubleshoot product shipping roadblocks and develop real-time solutions 
  • Monitor and manage fraud prevention dashboard 
  • Monitor and facilitate order processing and management with fulfillment 
  • Assist customer service with issues, returns, and reimbursements when needed 

Social Media Marketing Administration 
  • Coordinate and administer the monthly social content calendar 
  • Oversee day-to-day management of editorial content on all social media platforms, current and future 
  • Responsible for monthly budget planning as well as actualizing of spends across social platforms 
  • Work with internal resources to ensure bills and accruals are on time and are accurate from vendors 
  • Work with PR to manage collaborations and locate new influencers and affiliate marketing opportunities 

Event Management 
  • Manage all national, regional, channel and local Sharp events including trade shows, demonstrations, displays and setup 
  • Create and administer virtual trade show booths 
  • Responsible for budgeting, reporting, and processing trade show expenses 
  • Real time social coverage of events and activations 

Affiliate Marketing 
  • Responsible for implementation and administration of affiliate marketing program 

Merchandising Display Project Management 
  • Coordinate development, ordering, inventory, setup management, labor management for product displays in the field. 

Overall Coordination and Administration 
  • Provide overall team support and consultation 
  • Interface regularly with SEMCA and Corporate senior management 
  • Manage requests, Ensure deadlines are met and report on project status 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 year experience in a marketing communications function 
  • Strong Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud skills 
  • Demonstrated understanding of brand and product marketing principles  
  • Extremely Strong communication skills, both verbal and written 
  • WordPress, MailChimp, BigCommerce, WebCollage, Lumen5 experience a plus
  • Experience working in a multi-cultural corporation is a plus 
  • Experience in writing for brand communications a plus
