Talent Management Specialist

Purpose:

 The Talent Management Specialist will support the Talent Management and Talent Acquisition areas as we build on our strategy to promote a positive employee experience and maximize our employees’ potential to deliver on the Bank’s mission. This role is most likely to stay virtual for the time being.

Primary Responsibilities:

Talent Management

  • Support the design and implementation of employee and leadership development programs.
  • Assist with Learning program design, presentations and communications.
  • Conduct research and analysis on program options and effectiveness, including tracking metrics, and making recommendations for process improvement.
  • Support enterprise-wide execution of Talent Management programs, including Performance Management, Talent Review and Succession Planning programs.
  • Learning event coordination, including scheduling, set-up, communications and attendance tracking.

Talent Acquisition

  • Under the guidance of the Senior Recruiter, provide support on a variety of recruitment activities, including creating job postings, screening potential candidates, setting up interviews with hiring managers, conducting reference calls, etc.
  • May also attend or assist in preparing for recruiting outreach functions to include job fairs, community events and college recruitment activities.
  • Support diversity efforts related to talent acquisition and talent management - internally and externally.


Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Organizational Development or related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • One – three years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, learning & development or staffing, preferred. Project management experience a plus
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Suite, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience with Workday or other HR SaaS applications, and ATS recruitment functionality, preferred.
