Cost Analyst, Internal Fleet
Responsibilities:
- Track drivers performance both on time utilization and diesel consumption.
- Time utilization follow up:
- Compliance with the schedule,
- Shift time utilization,
- Compliance with HOS regulations,
- ELD logs compliance with DOT requirements,
- ELD logs compliance with Company requirements.
- Diesel cost follow up:
- Analyze results on market, vehicle and driver level,
- Analyze the individual MPG results, basics eco driving parameters, diesel purchase compliance against Company policy and requirements,
- Identify potential areas of improvement,
- Propose corrective actions,
- Regularly follow up performance against the KPI’s and targets set. Conduct tactical analysis using large data sets to better understand performance trends, mitigate risks, identify threats, and realize opportunities,
- Engage with Operations and other departments as needed to provide insight into market / driver level performance and forecasts,
- Be subject matter expert on fuel, eco driving, HOS regulations,
- Effectively communicate with field personnel on a daily basis, operations and management with a sense of urgency,
- Provide financial and performance recaps with insights on a weekly basis,
- Collaboration & Learning Culture - proactively drive these initiatives within the operational team to elevate collective knowledge. Spread best practices within the team
- Oversee data integrity of the various reports
- Self-motivated to seek knowledge on industry, systems, and market dynamics - high level of curiosity and self paced learning
- Practice healthy level of debate within the team to drive new approaches, anchored in data analysis
