UX/UI Design Intern
We are looking for design interns to join our tech startup for the winter 2022 quarter. Startup work is exciting and fast paced, and there are countless projects to tackle. We're generally able to tailor these projects to fit the interests of the individual student.
Some of the upcoming tasks design interns can tackle include:
- designing wireframes for V2 of our app
- designing new wireframes for our admin panel
- working with our customer development team to improve the app based on user feedback
- reviewing wireframes to meet accessibility standards
- and more
This course-credit internship is also a chance to get real-life experience in a tech startup and—remotely—exposed to the Incubator, the HotHouse, the entrepreneurship community, the consultants and experts who advise the company, and to make a connection at a fast-growing company that could lead to a great job. A little about us:
We're a startup in the Cal Poly Incubator program building a machine learning app that ranks and sorts action plans. The big idea is that anything someone is trying to achieve has been achieved before by someone else, so let's platform all these action plans (for getting good grades, making friends, managing frustrating administrative stuff, being healthy, finding work...) then sort them to the people for whom they will work (based on demographics, habits, personality, and location).
