Professional Recruitment Coordinator

As a member of the Talent Management Department, the Professional Recruitment Coordinator will coordinate all lateral attorney recruitment and summer associate program activities including recruitment, lateral attorney interview process, offer coordination, on-campus and in-house interviewing of law school candidates, orientation, and integration.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Lateral Attorney Hiring Process:
  • Coordinate all aspects of lateral attorney hiring, including but not limited to:
  • Drafting job postings for open positions.
  • Tracking all open positions.
  • Pre-screening resumes for qualified candidates and conducting phone interviews when necessary.
  • Coordinating the interview process.
  • Ensuring the completion of all pre-hire due diligence (new attorney questionnaire, client list, verification of bar standing, reference checking, etc.).
  • Facilitating the background check process.
  • Assisting with the offer process and tracking of correspondence.
Summer Associate Program:
  • Coordinate all aspects of the Summer Associate Program including, but not limited to:
  • Planning, facilitating, and attending all social events and training programs.
  • Coordinating the orientation process.
  • Communicating with supervising attorneys, attorney mentors, and office administrators throughout the program.
  • Tracking work assignments and evaluations.
  • Drafting offer letters and track correspondence.
Law Student Hiring:
  • Coordinate all aspects of law student hiring including, but not limited to:
  • Coordinating with various law schools to schedule interview dates.
  • Pre-screening student resumes for interview selection.
  • Coordinating all aspects of 1L Diversity Fellowship program, including resume review and initial screening interviews.
  • Planning pre- and post- on-campus interview (OCI) receptions.
  • Planning pre-recruiting informational sessions and networking events.
  • Arranging travel and interview schedules for candidates and interviewing attorneys.
  • Conducting correspondence and follow-up with candidates.
  • Preparing the National Association for Law Placement forms.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Communicating with outside vendors (career websites, etc.).
  • Maintaining relationships with peers at competitive firms, including membership in National Association for Law Placement.
  • Assisting with central databases to track new hire information (viDesktop, Flo Recruit, etc.).
  • Special projects as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS (EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
Experience:
  • One to three years of recruitment experience in a law firm or professional services environment. Event/marketing related experience a plus.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, viDesktop, and Flo Recruit a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Outstanding organizational and presentation skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously under strict time constraints.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
  • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with partners, non-partner lawyers, and staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work overtime will be required during periods of high workload.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel offsite to areas not accessible by public transportation required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
  • To be on-site in a Fox Rothschild LLP office, an individual must either be fully vaccinated or test weekly and wear a mask while in the office.
