Associate Director, Employee Engagement and Experience

Position Overview
The Associate Director, Employee Engagement and Experience is the ultimate people person and can relate to anyone. This person enjoys a mission-driven, fast paced environment where juggling multiple tasks at once is exciting and yet still can get the job done.
 
The Associate Director, Employee Experience and Engagement will be tech brave and savvy, may assist in identifying talent who can add value to our already stellar team. You like to learn about different roles and departments within our organization so that you can relate to anyone that shows interest in PLN or is currently a member of the team.
 
This leader will focus on the organizational culture through the employee experience using multi-channel communications, events, and programs. This person will create, organize, and support holistic internal experience programming that promotes internal communication, connection, and productivity for Para Los Niños.
 
This role will report to the VP, Human Resources, and partner with the Communications team as well as the PLN Leadership throughout the agency to champion an employee experience that centers on wellness, authentic engagement, and aligns with the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice efforts of the agency.
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar strategic culture, internal communications and/or events role
  • Bachelor's degree- Psychology, Marketing, Arts, Communications or Human Resources, preferred
  • Proven success in delivering and managing communications and events on time and on budget
  • Preference will be given to those candidates with a unique approach towards a 360-foot view from an organizational development lens
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing excellence
  • Strong problem solver, critical thinker, and obsessive planner
  • Relationship driven with ability to influence at all levels of the organization with analyses rooted in data
  • Creative approach, just because something is done one way in the industry does not make it the right approach
  • Collaborative, does not make decisions in a vacuum
  • Passionate and enthusiastic
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish is required

Other Requirements
  • Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug test and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • TB clearance to be renewed every year
