Behavior interventionist

  • Responsibilities:

Apply behavior programs depending on the client's needs (help them to develop skills);

Collect and analyze data (after monitoring their behaviors);

Willing to work at least 15h/week;

  • Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma;

Currently pursuing Undergraduate or Graduate Degree;

Reliable Vehicle;

Passion to work with children and adolescents with autism and their families.

  • No experience is needed as we will train you and pay for your training too.
  • As an entry-level behavior technician, you will teach communication skills, social skills, self-help skills, and play skills to children and adolescents with autism.
  • Autism is the biggest growing field in Psychology. No other degree in psychology would give such high pay and job security as becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This job will give you this opportunity to become a BCBA as the hours that you work get counted towards your 2000 hours practicum requirement. You get your hours as well as getting paid for those hours. What is better than this?
  • Individuals with a BCBA license (Mastery level) start from 90K/per year immediately after passing the board exam. This is mainly due to the significant growth rate among the autism population.
  • The prevalence of autism has grown from 1 in 5000 in the 1970s to 1 in 26 boys. (You can imagine the need for this population).
