Medical Assistant - Children's Program

As a Medical Assistant, you will assist the Children’s Program Nursing Department in providing medical care to individual students. Schedule medical and dental appointments, drive students to medical/dental visits and provide clerical support to the nursing staff in meeting Department of Education, EEC, and Department of Public Health regulations. Medical office and or CNA experience required. Computer literacy required. Prior experience in MD office and/or knowledge of medical terms preferred. Requirements include High School Diploma or GED, current driver’s license and the ability to handle children in crisis safely, with compassion. $20.49 per hr /$21.60 per hr with CNA certification

Fluent English speaking and writing skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills and professional appearance and demeanor are all required for this position.

40 hours: Mon 12p-8p, Tues & Wed 10a-6p, Fri 7a-3p, Sat 12p-8p 

***Weekend differential $3.00 per hour for hours worked between 7am Saturday through 6:59am Monday! ***
