Summer Marketing Manager (Paid Internship)

Purpose:

The Summer Digital Marketing intern will be responsible for managing the media team throughout the summer, leading them well and capturing the essence of our ministry at Seneca Hills Bible Camp, and developing excellent marketing materials to expand brand awareness and engage more clients.

Qualifications:

  • Have a personal and saving faith in Christ
  • Have experience in different leadership roles
  • Have a positive and teachable attitude with a desire to learn and work as a member of a team
  • Current student studying Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with Social Media Platforms
  • Experience in working at camp, preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Premiere preferred, but not required
  • Experience with Wordpress preferred, but not required

Responsibilities:

  • Lead media team of 3 to 4 media staff, depending on week
  • Create promotional content for summer camp and retreat season
  • Create/oversee the making of a weekly video and post on Vimeo
  • Work with Program Manager to develop special promotional content
  • Delegate duties and ensure that all tasks are completed
  • Capture and edit photos and videos of camp activities
  • Assist with email and print marketing campaigns
  • Manage Social Media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Vimeo, Smug Mug)
  • Ensure nightly chapel service runs with excellence
  • Create material for camper/staff recruitment and special events
