Audit Associate

As a CPA firm, W&O provides audit services to small to mid-cap non-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, construction and real estate developments, and health care organizations.



INTERESTED IN BECOMING AN AUDITOR?


WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform audits, reviews, compilations and various consulting engagements.
  • Work with a team of 2-5 fellow staff members under supervision of a senior, manager or partner.
  • Identify and document controls and weaknesses in basic accounting systems (routine systems such as A/P, A/R and payroll). 
  • Perform a thorough evaluation of assigned areas and regularly identify potential observations for improvements. 
  • Demonstrate an understanding of basic work paper preparation.
  • Exhibit strong analytical skills to evaluate financial data and relationships
  • Work toward completion of CPA certification.
 
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or related field.
  • Must meet minimum requirements to sit for the CPA exam.
  • Strong academic credentials (minimum GPA of 3.0).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
