Tax Treasury Intern

The Tax & Treasury Intern is responsible for supporting the implementation of global treasury policy and other tax & treasury process improvement projects. The Tax & Treasury Intern has the opportunity to work with global teams and gain hands-on experience with tax & treasury operations and learn about best practice.

 

This position is part of the Tax & Treasury team and will be located in Sunnyvale, CA under a hybrid work arrangement. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work with each bank or local team to properly set up user roles, approval limits and exceptions for global bank accounts
  • Support setting up standard procedure for performing periodic review of user roles on global bank accounts 
  • Perform review of existing signors on global bank accounts and make necessary changes
  • Support bank account simplifications
  • Support other tax & treasury projects as required

 

The essential requirements of the job include: 

 

  • Working towards a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field
  • Minimal GPA 3.0
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint

 

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Prior work experience in a large corporation or professional organization 
  • Prior experience in managing projects involving multiple workstreams and teams
