Aquatics Coordinator (Paid Internship)

The Aquatics Coordinator will be responsible for managing the pool and aquatic programming throughout the summer. This will include creating various schedules for aquatic-based activities (such as lifeguarding and river trips) as well as maintaining proper chemical levels in the pool and maintaining safety standards.

Have a personal and saving faith in Christ

Have experience in different leadership roles

Have a positive and teachable attitude with a desire to learn and work as a member of a team

Current student studying Sports Management, Recreation Management, or similar field preferred

Hold a valid Red Cross Lifeguarding certification

Experience lifeguarding in previous roles

Experience in working at camp, preferred, but not required

Assist in training aquatics staff (lifeguards) during staff training

Develop schedules for aquatics staff to do throughout the week

Coordinate with other summer staff to ensure aquatics programming runs with excellence

Create and manage safe environment for all aquatic activities

Delegate duties and ensure that all tasks are completed

Ensure that pool is well maintained and various standards are met
