Boating/Waterski/Wakeboard @ Camp IHC

Make a splash on the water this summer!

At Camp IHC our waterfront family is broken down into three areas. Swim coaching and lifeguarding, boating, and waterskiing and wakeboarding.

Every day of summer camp you will find campers and counselors having a crazy amount of fun in the pool or on the lake. Our Swim staff have three main responsibilities at the pool and waterfront. Teach young campers how to swim, coach kids in competitive swim meets and guard the amazing beach and pool areas.
Our Swim Staff are headed up by our waterfront directors, they will bring your lifeguarding, coaching and instruction skills to the next level through an extensive pre-camp training program.

Boating takes place on our beautiful 35 acre, spring fed natural lake and there’s no better way to spend your summer days than Kayaking, Canoeing and Stand Up Paddle Boarding.
The boating team consists of 6-8 staff. As a boating instructor you are responsible for teaching campers the basics skills associated with Kayaking, Canoeing and Stand Up Paddle Boarding all while having an amazing time on the lake. As Campers play, your ultimate goal is to keep them safe and make sure they are having fun!

Waterski is one of the coolest areas on camp. Every camper and counselor can’t wait until it’s their turn to go to the waterski dock for an activity period.
As part of the waterski team you will take campers waterskiing, tubing, wake-boarding and kneeboarding. At Camp IHC the Waterski instructors will teach around 7 periods a day. You’ll help teach campers from 6-16 years old with a variety of abilities.
