Engineering Summer Intern

If you are an Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you located in Boulder, CO. You will perform basic and routine assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria to carry out a sequence of related engineering tasks and activities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: 

  • Participate in the Engineering development process
  • Collaborate with your team to meet project objectives and achievements
  • Participate in Engineering development rhythms and cadences, such as Agile and PI
  • Contribute to efforts to improve Engineering processes

You are an analytical person that demonstrates initiate to tackle tough problems. You are a strong teammate, working with others and collaborating with your team to make products and process better. You show passion about your work and pride in getting the job done. You persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks. You adjust communication to fit the audience and the message. You anticipate the impact of new technologies and make necessary adjustments

For This Role, You Will Need To Be: 

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university entering either the junior, senior, or graduate year
  • Pursing Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Technology from an accredited university or college
  • Experience and curiosity about Engineering hardware and software development

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Knowledge of Agile development methodology

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the pay is $25.00 per hour, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
