Interventional Imaging Technologist

• Sign-on bonus:  Up to $15,000.00

• Schedule:  Full Time Days - Monday through Friday (7:30am to 4:00pm), with rotating on call time for weeknights and weekends

• Location:  Milwaukee, WI

Responsibilities 

Assist physicians with interventional procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observe patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

Requirements 

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Radiology Technician obtained prior to hire dale or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Vascular-lntrvn Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 15 Months (1 1/4 year) of hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Graduate of a JRCERT approved program in Radiologic Technology required. Bachelofs Degree preferred.

Work Experience:

• Minimum of three (3) years Radiology experience required.
