Summer Staff (Camp Counselors, Lifeguards, Musicians, Crafters)

We are a Summer Camp looking to hire some individuals to join our campers and us for a Summer of memories, growth, and leadership. Working at John Knox will bring great opportunity to engage our camper and staff community, while developing your leadership skills as well as your resume. There is always a chance that you could have more than one job with us(Counselor/Lifeguard, or Counselor/Musician) and will be compensated more if you choose to do more than one position, but must either be able to prove certification/get certified by our instructor as well as prove musical talent. Room and board are provided while campers are onsite. Jobs that we have openings for are as followed:

Camp Counselors: This job is one on one with our campers and are really the frontline when it comes to leading our campers. You will be in charge of a cabin of campers who will look to you for guidance when it comes to all activities here at John Knox.

Lifeguards: In charge of all aquatic activities. Tasked with administering swim test to all campers as well as being on duty anytime campers or staff are in the water. John Knox Center has a Lifeguard Instructor on staff and offers a discounted class for all those who wish to get certified. (When it comes to lifeguards we attempt to have all of our staff certified but it is not required)

Musician: Vocal or instrumental welcome. Tasked with the musical component of our Worship, both the leading as well as teaching campers the songs. If possible would love both vocal and instrumental.
