Recruiter - Entry to Mid-Level (Maryland)

Responsibilities

Provide front line HR services by recruiting and hiring a technically superior and diverse workforce. As a Recruiter, you will: identify quality candidates, communicate the advantages of Agency employment, establish salary, make conditional offers, obtain offer acceptances, complete hiring actions, build relationships with college placement directors and department deans and professors, represent NSA at career and college fairs, as well as partner with NSA organizations to determine requirements and applicant qualifications. Other duties and skills include but are not limited to: - Ability to work independently and with a team - Provide counsel and guidance to employees and managers - Address customer concerns and partner with organizations to determine requirements in order to meet mission needs - Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks - Demonstrated attention to detail to ensure accurate output and data integrity - Ability to synthesize data to provide insight to leadership and process changes/challenges - Ability to adapt to meet changing requirements

Qualifications

The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Degrees in Human Resources (HR), Sociology, Psychology, English, Communications, Public Relations, Business and Marketing are preferred, but a degree in any field is acceptable. Relevant experience must be in marketing, communications, or attracting, recruiting and staffing personnel and in addition, may also include performing HR activities (e.g., human capital, health benefits, and retirement) and customer relations. ENTRY/DEVELOPMENTAL Entry is with a Bachelor's degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. FULL PERFORMANCE Entry is with a Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 1 year of experience, or a Doctoral degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 7 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification is preferred.
