Staff Tax Accountant Internship -Aspiring CPA

Flexible Part-time work schedule

$28.00 per hour

 

Bachecki, Crom & Co., LLP is an established CPA and Consulting firm located in the San Francisco Bay Area looking for an aspiring CPA.

Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

  • Prepare tax returns
  • Assist with research and tax planning
  • Communicate with Taxing Authorities
  • Communicate with clients regarding tax and accounting matters
  • Support Manager and Partners

We are looking for a Staff Tax Accountant (Aspiring CPA) who: 

  • Working towards a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in accounting or finance (obtained degree is a plus), and/or appropriate balance of education and work experience
  • GPA of 3.20 or higher
  • Has 1 year internship experience in tax preparation or worked at VITA.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills and is detail oriented.
  • Demonstrates excellent writing and communication skills and can communicate complex issues in a simple, understandable format. 
  • Can problem solve to work efficiently towards successful solutions.
  • Is fluent in MS Office 365 & Adobe Acrobat and comfortable with using and learning different types of business technology and accounting systems.
  • Is willing to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and team members. And is able to build rapport with colleagues and networking professionals.
  • Can work in a team environment and independently and has a desire to learn.
