Inside Sales Account Executive

POSITION SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Account Executive for the Reno Aces Baseball Club is responsible for generating new ticket revenue through outbound phone calls, face-to-face meetings with prospects, touring clients around Greater Nevada Field, and working events. The primary objective of this position is building relationships and generating revenue for the Aces Ticket Sales department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Sell a full menu of ticket products for the Reno Aces, including, but not limited to full and partial season ticket packages, group tickets and hospitality packages
  • Develop new business through 70+ outbound calls a day from lists provided to sell full and partial season ticket packages and group tickets
  • Effectively follow up with clients and prospective clients in order to build relationships to help provide repeat business and to meet excellent customer service requirements
  • Proactively create opportunities for new business through up-selling opportunities and referrals from existing clients
  • Contact past customers to generate new ticket sales
  • Conduct in-stadium appointments and tours of Greater Nevada Field to assist in closing new business and developing new relationships
  • Represent the Reno Aces and Greater Nevada Field in a positive way
  • Assist in a variety of game-related duties
  • Participate in weekly and monthly sales training
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) preferred
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic, high attention to detail and organization, and strong time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous sales experience is a plus
  • Completion of a satisfactory background check

COMPENSATION 

  • Base Pay: $13/hr
  • Overtime Rate: $19.50
  • Commission: The sky is the limit!
  • Bonus: Up to $750 annual in team bonuses

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the phone for several hours a day
  • Must be able to stand on concourse during games for 3 hours at a time
